Mark Hitchcock: Tucker Carlson vs Christian Zionism

I want to address some recent outlandish, over-the-top comments by Tucker Carlson on a podcast with Nick Fuentes, an avowed anti-Semite and Holocaust denier. Tucker has ranted consistently against US support for Israel since October 7th and despises Christian Zionists in the strongest terms. He said, “I think the single biggest threat to Christianity in this country is Christian Zionism. I hate it more than leftist writers, Islamic terrorists, Nazis, or Chinese communists.” He says Christian Zionists are heretics, not Christians. These comments must be answered—they’re misguided and malicious. I want to talk about what it means to be a Christian Zionist and why it’s not only not heretical, but biblical. The Bible reveals that God himself is a Zionist—He made promises to Israel and is fulfilling them before our eyes.
