If one judges solely by input, the American campaign against the Houthi aggression out of Yemen is impressive, with more than 1000 targets hit since mid-March. However, if the standard is the output, there is little evidence that the Ansar-Allah tribe and its local allies are about to stop harassing Israel and Red Sea shipping. With the Israeli Air Force hitting back after the recent close call at Ben Gurion Airport, tensions are certainly rising, but threats arising from Iran rather than its semi-independent proxy are yet to materialise.
