Welcome to TV7 Israel Update with Jonathan Hasson, broadcasting live from Jerusalem. In this comprehensive edition, we break down the escalating security threats across the Middle East with our distinguished guests: retired U.S. Colonel Abbas Haider (former military attaché and senior State Department and CENTCOM advisor) and Mr. Abdullah Al-Arian, Senior Research Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD).
We examine the urgent warnings delivered at the UN Security Council regarding Iranian, Hezbollah, and proxy conspiracies during election seasons, the explosive regional fallout from Washington and Jerusalem’s pressure on the Ayatollah regime, the surging hybrid and asymmetric threat landscape facing Western allies from both Iran and Russia, and the escalating Houthi offensive targeting Saudi infrastructure, oil facilities, and international shipping lanes. Finally, we analyze the shifting geopolitical dynamics and internal fractures in Yemen, Syria, and Lebanon.
