Facing the Iranian challenge – Jerusalem Studio

The Islamic Republic of Iran continues to remain Israel’s biggest threat, regardless of what is happening on other fronts, the majority of which also emanates from the Iranian master plot to annhialite the Jewish State. For the rest of the world, the spectre of an Iranian nuclear arsenal is unsettling but not an existential threat. This difference gives rise to doubts in the Israeli camp regarding the Trump administration’s intentions. While there are some measures which justify the title “The Return of Maximum Pressure”, there are also indications that the White House’s preferred option is a negotiated settlement.
