Upon surveying the regional threat landscape, Israel sees a much better picture than the one which loomed some two years ago. There is almost total calm on all fronts, with the exception being whenever the IDF responds against plots against Israel either by Hamas, Hezbollah, or cells in Syria or Judea and Samaria.
