AskFOI: What Is the Davidic Covenant?

In this episode of AskFOI, we go to 2 Samuel 7, where the Lord promised to establish David’s dynasty, throne, and kingdom forever through what is called the Davidic Covenant. While David wanted to build a house for God, the Lord responded with a promise that He would build a “house” for David, establishing a royal line that would ultimately lead to the Messiah. Also we’ll find the Davidic Covenant’s connection to the Abrahamic Covenant and why the Bible points to a future day when Jesus will return to rule as the promised King from David’s throne.
