When Daniele and Carmel heard that their mother’s house was in the path of an EF4 tornado, they feared the worst. Despite the tornado’s destruction, their mother miraculously survived. Still, the family was faced with the overwhelming job of cleaning up the debris and combing through the rubble that was their childhood home. Thankfully, the family didn’t have to face this challenge alone. The volunteers of Samaritan’s Purse helped the family clean up the storm damage and find the priceless family heirlooms that survived the storm. The service performed by our volunteers for this family and other families across London, KY, has been both a blessing to those affected by the tornado and a testament to God’s provision for us in the hardest of times.
